The following information is very important. Please take time to read.
The stylists at Zaki Duafe would like to provide quality, efficient, and professional services for clients and in order to do so we have created these policies to ensure that we better serve you.
I. Deposits
For all clients new to the salon there will be a $25 (non-refundable) fee to secure your initial appointment with stylist and to cover the consultation fee. This payment is due at the time of scheduled appointment in addition to service. This fee is not included with the cost of service being rendered. You may pay the fee prior to service or at the time of the scheduled appointment. Payments accepted at the salon are CASH OR CREDIT (VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER) ONLY.
II. Tardiness
The stylist and client are both given a fifteen minute grace period without a late fee being incurred. It is at the stylists’ discretion to accept clients who are more than fifteen minutes late for their scheduled appointment if client has not notified stylist. If stylist does, however, accept client a $10.00 late fee will be charged. If the stylist is running more than fifteen minutes behind $15.00 will be deducted from service. If the client is thirty minutes or more late for their scheduled appointment, the client will be charged a $15.00 late fee and will need to reschedule his/her appointment.
III. Cancellations
All cancellations require a 24 hour notice prior to date of scheduled service. If a client cancels the same day as his/her appointment time a $20.00 fee is owed to stylist prior to scheduling next appointment (the fee must be paid in full before any future appointments can be made). If the client for any unforeseen reason/circumstance is unable to give notice and cancels the same day; it is at the stylists discretion to waive any fees.
IV. Removal of Previous Styles
ALL styles must be removed prior to clients’ scheduled appointment. If the stylist has to wait for client to remove any style, a late fee will be charged. If client is more than thirty minutes removing previous style they will be asked to reschedule appointment and are required to pay late fee of $15.00.
V. No Call/No Show
Clients who do not call, text, or email stylist prior to appointment to cancel and who do not show for his/her scheduled appointment will be required to pay 50% of the APPOINTMENT PRIOR to scheduling any future appointments. After two incidents of no call/no show stylists will no longer be able to render any service to that client.
**Please note that neither the salon nor its stylists will be providing any artificial/human hair for any braiding/weaving services**
